Space
Bedroom 1 has a king bed with sliding doors onto the balcony and a straight view out at the Gulf. Bedroom 2 has a king bed. Bedroom 3 has a full over queen bunk that sleeps four, which tends to be the favorite room for kids. That is real sleeping space for eight, with no sofa beds and no air mattresses. Two full bathrooms, and the washer and dryer are in the unit. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a center island, plus cookware, dishes, and the small appliances you need to actually cook. The dining table seats the group, with extra seating at the island. Romar House is a gated beachfront community. Guests have two outdoor pools, a fitness room, a sauna, a tennis court, and new pickleball and basketball courts. There is a fire pit for evenings outside and charcoal grills if you want to cook out. Adventure Island is about a ten minute walk. The condo is on the ninth floor and the building has an elevator.
Access
You have the entire condo to yourself, plus full access to everything at Romar House: both outdoor pools, the fitness room, the sauna, the tennis court, and the new pickleball and basketball courts. The deeded beach access is the part guests notice most. The stretch of sand directly in front of the building belongs to Romar House and is not open to the general public. One parking pass is included with your stay. Additional passes are subject to HOA rules, so reach out before you arrive if you need a second one. Your door code and arrival details are sent before check-in, so you can head straight to the condo.
Neighborhood
Romar House sits on Perdido Beach Boulevard in the heart of Orange Beach, one of the quieter stretches of the Alabama Gulf Coast. The building is gated and set back from the road, so the beach in front stays uncrowded even in high season. Walk across the street to Doc’s Seafood Shack for a casual po’boy, The Ruby Slipper Cafe for brunch, or Wolf Bay for classic Gulf seafood with a view. Adventure Island theme park is about a ten-minute walk if you have kids in the group. The Wharf is a five-minute drive for shopping, restaurants, live music, and the Ferris wheel. OWA is fifteen minutes inland if the weather turns and you want an indoor amusement park option. Grocery runs are easy at Publix on Perdido Beach Boulevard, less than five minutes away.
Interaction With Guests
Hi, I am Bre with Beacon Escapes.
I am available by message anytime before, during, and after your stay. Most messages are answered within an hour during the day and first thing in the morning if sent overnight.
You will hear from me a few days before arrival with check-in details, WiFi, the gate code, parking pass pickup at the HOA office, and everything you need to settle in. On the morning of arrival, I will send your personal door code and turn-by-turn directions to the 9th floor.
During your stay, I stay out of your way. This is your vacation. If anything comes up, whether it is a question about the private beach, a restaurant recommendation, or something in the condo that needs attention, message me and I will handle it quickly.
Our local team is close by for anything that needs eyes on the property.
Be Relaxed. Be Restored. We are so happy YOU ARE HERE.
Kindest Regards,
Bre with Beacon Escapes
Transit
A car is the easiest way to get around Orange Beach. You have one included parking pass and the drive from Pensacola or Mobile airport is about an hour. Once you are at Romar House, you can walk to several restaurants directly across the street and to Adventure Island in about ten minutes. Rideshare (Uber and Lyft) is reliable for shorter trips to The Wharf, Gulf Shores, or restaurants further down the beach road. The Alabama Gulf Coast trolley (BayCoast) runs a seasonal beach route in summer with a stop near the building if you would rather leave the car parked.
Notes
Dogs are welcome with prior approval. Let us know before you book so we can have everything set for your dog. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach per HOA rules, so plan on walking your dog in the pet-designated areas around the property instead. Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is before 10:00 AM. There is an exterior security camera at the entry. There are no cameras anywhere inside the condo. The condo is on the ninth floor and the building has an elevator. The beach in front of the building is deeded to Romar House, which means it is for owners and guests rather than open to the public.
Pets are welcome with advance registration. We allow up to 2 well-behaved, trained dogs, 75 lb limit each, with a $200 pet fee per stay. Please register your pet’s breed, weight, and proof of current vaccines before arrival. Please de-shed and bathe your dog before arrival, and clean up after your pet in the yard. No pets on beds or upholstered furniture. Pets must be crated when left alone.
